The next XVG? Microcap 100x potential actually supported by fundamentals!
What’s up team? I have a hot one for you. XVG returned 12 million percent in 2017 and this one reminds me a lot of it. Here’s why: Mimblewimble is like Blu-Ray compared to CD-ROM in terms of its ability to compress data on a blockchain. The current BTC chain is 277gb and its capacity is limited because every time you spend a coin, each node needs to validate its history back to when it was mined (this is how double spending is prevented). Mimblewimble is different - all transactions in a block are aggregated and netted out in one giant CoinJoin, and only the current spending needs to be verified. This means that dramatically more transactions can fit into a smaller space, increasing throughput and lowering fees while still retaining the full proof of work game theory of Bitcoin. These blockchains are small enough to run a full node on a cheap smartphone, which enhances the decentralization and censorship resistance of the network. The biggest benefit, though, is that all transactions are private - the blockchain doesn’t reveal amounts or addresses except to the actual wallet owner. Unlike earlier decoy-based approaches that bloat the chain and can still be data mined (XMR), Mimblewimble leaves no trace in the blockchain, instead storing only the present state of coin ownership. The first two Mimblewimble coins, Grin and Beam, launched to great fanfare in 2019, quickly reaching over $100m in market cap (since settled down to $22m and $26m respectively). They are good projects but grin has infinite supply and huge never-decreasing emission, and Beam is a corporate moneygrab whose founding investors are counting on you buying for their ROI. ZEC is valued at $568m today, despite the facts that only 1% of transactions are actually shielded, it has a trusted setup, and generating a confidential transaction takes ~60 seconds on a powerful PC. XMR is a great project but it’s valued at $1.2b (so no 100x) and it uses CryptoNote, which is 2014 tech that relies on a decoy-based approach that could be vulnerable to more powerful computers in the future. Mimblewimble is just a better way to approach privacy because there is simply no data recorded in the blockchain for companies to surveil. Privacy is not just for darknet markets, porn, money launderers and terrorists. In many countries it’s dangerous to be wealthy, and there are all kinds of problems with having your spending data be out there publicly and permanently for all to see. Namely, companies like Amazon are patenting approaches to identify people with their crypto addresses, “for law enforcement” but also so that, just like credit cards, your spending data can be used to target ads. (A) Coinbase is selling user data to the DEA, IRS, FBI, Secret Service, and who knows who else? (B) What about insurance companies raising your premiums or canceling your policy because they see you buying (legal) cannabis? If your business operates using transparent cryptocurrency, competitors can data mine your customer and supply chain data, and employees can see how much everyone else gets paid. I could go on, but the idea of “I have nothing to hide, so what do I care about privacy?” will increasingly ring hollow as people realize that this money printing will have to be paid by massive tax increases AND that those taxes will be directly debited from their “Central Bank Digital Currency” wallets. 100% privacy for all transactions also eliminates one HUGE problem that people aren’t aware of yet, but they will be: fungibility. Fungibility means that each coin is indistinguishable from any other, just like paper cash. Why is this important? Because of the ever-expanding reach of AML/KYC/KYT (Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Customer / Know Your Transaction) as regulators cramp down on crypto and banks take over, increasingly coins become “tainted” in various ways. For example, if you withdraw coins to a mixing service like Wasabi or Samourai, you may find your account blocked. (C) The next obvious step is that if you receive coins that these chainalysis services don’t like for whatever reason, you will be completely innocent yet forced to prove that you didn’t know that the coins you bought were up to no good in a past life. 3 days ago, $100k of USDC was frozen. (D) Even smaller coins like LTC now have this problem, because “Chinese Drug Kingpins” used them. (E) I believe that censorable money that can be blocked/frozen isn’t really “your money”. Epic Cash is a 100% volunteer community project (like XVG and XMR) that had a fair launch in September last year with no ICO and no premine. There are very few projects like this, and it’s a key ingredient in Verge’s success (still at $110m market cap today despite being down 97% since the bubble peak) and why it’s still around. It has a small but super passionate community of “Freemen” who are united by a belief in the sound money economics of Bitcoin Standard emission (21m supply limit and ever-decreasing inflation) and the importance of privacy. I am super bullish on this coin for the following reasons:
Only $400k market cap
Supply started at zero, so there are no VC’s and team to dump on you into the pumps - all coins are mined into existence, just like Bitcoin.
It just had its first halving, reducing emission from 16 to 8 per block. Between now and 2028 there are FOUR (!) more halvings, from 4 to 2 to 1 and then finally 0.15 (I guess that would be an 85%-ing :p) and at this point the supply is the same as BTC and stays in sync forever until the last coin is mined in 2140. This simple supply curve is already accepted by the market as a winner, so why mess with success? (I)
Meets Andreas Antonopolous’ 5 pillars of open blockchains test: Public, Open, Borderless, Neutral, and Censorship Resistant. (How many coins can say this?)
Unlike Bitcoin, Epic created a multi-algorithm approach that enables people to mine on ordinary computers - 60% for CPU on RandomX, 38% for GPU on ProgPow, and 2% for ASIC’s on Cuckoo31+. The algorithms don’t compete with one another. This is essential for leveling the playing field and preventing massive farms from dominating. These percentages can change over time and new algorithms can be easily dropped in. You can mine today using an old laptop and in 5 years you will still be able to. Incidentally, there is nothing standing in the way of adding mobile phone-based mining, which ETN showed there’s a huge demand for.
Based off the excellent Grin codebase, which means they continue to pull in ongoing core code enhancements and focus on ease of use and market penetration instead. (Smart!)
Litecoin’s Charlie Lee is out there daily talking about their move to Mimblewimble, which provides free publicity. What people don’t realize is that you can’t just bolt on Mimblewimble to a legacy blockchain, that’s like putting a Ferrari engine into a school bus - it’s still a school bus, not a race car! LTC is doing it as an optional soft fork via “extension blocks” which will not be supported by all wallets and exchanges. Also, anyone using “optional” privacy features is declaring themselves to be suspicious, which kind of defeats the point for people who care about privacy.
The community is friendly and welcoming to new people coming in, with lots of helpful (independently created) tutorials and guides. (F)
It’s already a global phenomenon, with the whitepaper in 20+ languages (G) and (not bot-infested) active local-language communities on not only Telegram but also Wechat, LINE, QQ and other messenger platforms.
It’s only on two random little exchanges currently, Citex and Vitex. Vitex is actually a pretty good DEX with no KYC and a great mobile wallet.
They are very creative - since centralized exchanges want huge money to list, they created a non-inflationary ERC20 tracker token that’s exchangeable 1:1 for coins so that Uniswap trading is possible (H)
Because it doesn’t have a huge marketing budget in a sea of VC-funded shitcoins, it is as-yet undiscovered, which is why it’s so cheap. There are only 4 Mimblewimble-based currencies on the market: MWC at $162m, BEAM at $26m, GRIN at $22m, and EPIC at $0.4m. This is not financial advice and as always, do your own research, but I’ve been buying this gem for months and will continue to. This one ticks all the boxes for me, the only real problem is that it’s hard to buy much without causing a huge green candle. Alt season is coming, and coins like this are how your neighbor Chad got his Lambo back in 2017. For 2021, McLaren is a better choice and be sure to pay cash so that it doesn’t get repossessed like Chad!
In today's world of heavily nascent and volatile cryptocurrency, one point or factor stands out. That is exchanges. Cryptocurrency exchanges are sites(whether physical or virtual) where cryptocurrencies are traded for each other or traditional fiat currencies like Euro, Pound Sterling or US Dollar. They may be divided by many criteria, chief of which may be Modus Operandi or Central Control. The Degree of Control suggests a central control of exchange management and resources. There are Centralized, Decentralized and Hybrid exchanges. Now we can narrow down to Centralized Exchanges. These are where transactions are monitored and controlled by the owners of the exchange. Transactions can be made only through mechanisms provided and approved by the central body. Also there is no access to private keys by traders. Examples include Koinpro, Binance, Kucoin, Bittrex etc. About Koinpro This is a Smart Bitcoin Futures Exchange. KoinPro, your new fangled crypto exchange, that goes beyond crypto and boasts of multiple futures contracts, with its own unique features and benefits. #001Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by thesudio. There’s a lot of good points made, however, these would work better if there is a clear narrative and flow to the information being presented. Otherwise, it can be overwhelming and confusing to the reader. The #1 objective is to visually depict the architecture story and how KMD is redefining blockchain platform architecture.
#002Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by thesudio. We like that there is a clear structure and clear messaging aligned to each of the 5 pillars. However, the infographic should be focused on telling the architecture story vs the pillars.
#003Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by VolsenVols. Love how you’ve incorporated our existing graphic design elements into the infographic. This is heading in the right direction and the level of copy and content are well balanced. It would be nice to align this closer to the architecture story and to expand on the different layers of our technology using the same style.
#004Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by dexter_laabo. Needs to tell the architecture story. This looks more like it took information from our current website. “Anonymous” is not a key aspect of our technology that we’re focusing on.
#005Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by savandra. The visuals are strong but the narrative could be stronger. It would be nice to align this closer to the architecture story and to expand on the different layers of our technology using the same style.
#007Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by cryptol1. Doesn’t depict the architecture narrative. Inaccurately describes cross-chain tech as “proprietary”. Simplification has the wrong messaging associated, should be white-label focused. This is considered more of a graphics versus an infographic. Needs to be more comprehensive.
#008Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by pacosenda. We like the unique design style and approach taken. Doesn’t follow the architecture narrative. Should be expanded out as it is a bit short on content with no clear flow or narrative.
#009Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by jeanetteLine. Great level of detail and thought on the layout and content. Doesn’t, however, cover the architecture story. Would be preferred if the design direction reflects interim colour and style vs. legacy KMD. The roadmap should be avoided. Looks like they borrowed more from the website than the guidelines.
#010Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by Meyse. Very creative way to explain and layout the content. This could be expanded out more to encompass the entire architecture story. Cross-chain verifications/smart contracts, blockchain bridging need to be incorporated in.
#014Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by Limiter02. Good thought has gone into the copy, however, there’s way too much of it. Would prefer stronger visuals and utilizing a more visual storytelling approach. Doesn’t follow the architecture story. Remove the lizard.
#015Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by piptothemoon. Great thought into visually representing key points. Needs to be expanded out to incorporate the architecture story, but this is heading in the right direction from a visual storytelling POV.
#016Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by thecryptofoundation. Love the timeline approach, and mostly followed the guidelines and architecture story. Also, like the incorporation of accomplishments at the end. Would like to get the stock imagery used to reflect our interim colour palette. Not all visuals match what is being represented in the copy.
#017Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by jsteneros. As discussed in the Zoom call, this graphic is really solid but a little heavy on the copy. Would be good to see more visualizations of the info. This graphic hits on some of the important messages (e.g. Komodo is built differently from other blockchain platforms and solves many of the issues that first-gen platforms are struggling with) but it would be great if there was more information about Komodo’s architecture and how Komodo is different from other platforms.
#018Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by gravigocrypto. This one was also discussed in the Zoom call. Outstanding visuals and overall design. The info follows the architecture story well but could be stronger if the 3 layers of Komodo’s architecture were tied together into one, coherent visual. It’s a challenging task but that’s part of the contest : )
#019Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by PacoSenda. This is a really creative infographic, which is great! However, we’d really like to see the visuals a bit more in line with fonts and color palette described above in the “First Round of Feedback” section. Also, as with the feedback for many of the infographic submissions, sticking to the Komodo architecture story would be best.
#020Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by emmanmalaman. The visuals are pretty cool but this one misses most of our core messaging. It would be much stronger if it followed the architecture story and touched on the info provided in this post. There’s definitely potential here but it needs some work.
#021Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by immimidada. The colors and visuals here are spot-on. It’s also really great that it sets up the problem and then presents the Komodo solution. However, the problem and solution aren’t defined exactly the way we’d like. Check out the architecture narrative to learn more, and try to follow that story a bit more closely.
#022Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by mohitgfx3. This one is a bit heavy on the KMD logos. We’re really hoping to see a visualization of Komodo’s infrastructure architecture. As with the feedback for many of the infographics, it would be best to re-read Komodo’s architecture story and try to stick to that as much as possible. Using images from the current website is also not a great approach, as we’re preparing to launch a new site in the coming months.
#023Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by u/sayonara_girl. Some of the visuals are cool! It’s missing the narrative we’re looking for. In general, less copy and more visual storytelling would improve this graphic a lot. We’d like to see a smooth, linear flow of information. Take another look at the architecture story and try to follow that narrative.
#024Infographic Link//Reddit Post Link by brunopugens. This one follows the narrative well! But it’s a little heavy on the copy. It would be much stronger if the architecture was displayed visually, rather than explained with text. Also, the design is cool but it’s difficult to read b/c the perspective of the text is skewed. It’s a really cool idea but might be better to put the text flat for the sake of readability and clarity.
We hosted a round of live feedback sessions via Zoom. The recording is here:
The first block in the KMD blockchain was mined just under two years ago, on September 13, 2016 to 9:04 PM. Since then, Komodo has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and established a history of execution.
Cryptomiso.com is a website that ranks 866 different blockchain projects according to the Github commit history of that project’s most popular repo. Komodo is ranked #1 overall for Github commits over the last 12 months.
China's Ministry Research Initiative regularly ranks Komodo in the top 10.
Dxchain Mainnet Recently, Dxchain team announced the launch of Dxchain project's mainnet alpha. You can find the article containing the release here. In this article, the team summarized briefly on what mainnet entails as quoted below:
It is well known that mainnet is the fundamental of a blockchain project, cryptocurrency is not a real blockchain technology until the Mainnet launch. Any concepts, ideas or theories are not realizable. DxChain has been committed to building a secure and efficient decentralized big data storage and computing network from the beginning. The construction, development and performance of DxChain network are what DxChain engineers caring about. The release of DxChain Mainnet Alpha represents that DxChain has basically completed the construction of the public chain framework, in which smart contracts, storage contracts, DPoS consensus algorithms, mining and other functions have been developed; also represents DxChain's transformation from cryptocurrency to a real public chain.
The explanation is concise enough for an average crypto user to understand what mainnet is. In this article, I will try to expand a bit farther on the idea of mainnet and why it is necessary for a project like DxchainNetwork to have a mainnet. In the forum discussion I started here, I gathered knowledge of how mainnet works which gave me the clear insight of what I needed to know. Firstly, let us take a deeper look of what a mainnet is.
What Is A Mainnet?
Before now, On July 8, Dxchain launched her testnet and officially announced it here. It evidenced that the Dxchain Team had the prototype of the project up for running. That brings me to contrasting between Mainnet and Testnet. A Mainnet stands for the "Main Network" is the “real” cryptocurrency network where testnet represents a dummy alternatively network for the purposes of testing only. The cryptocurrency coins/token generated on testnet mostly aren't real since they do not have any monetary value as compared to that of mainnet with monetary value. The functionality of transferring a digital currency between the parties involved is rendered on the mainnet. It is on the mainnet that the decentralized applications are developed and deployed. According to Binance Academy ,Mainnet is the term used to describe when a blockchain protocol is fully developed and deployed, meaning that cryptocurrency transactions are being broadcasted, verified, and recorded on a distributed ledger technology (blockchain). In cryptocurrencies, mainnets are the end products in blockchain projects that make it possible for transactions to be carried out. It also undergoes changes from time to time when there is need for updates or review. Before an investors makes his decision to invest in an Initial Coin Offering (ICO), it appears very crucial to be sure the blockchain project has a mainnet. Both mainnet or a testnet indicate the seriousness of a project as they affect the price of a cryptocurrency in one way or another.
Does Mainnet Affect Price of coin?
On Dxchain's telegram communuty, I have witnessed several users asking questions like "Admin, Why the pump?, "Admin, price is high. Why! and so on. It is obvious there are so many who seem not having the right information before investing in a coin resulting in them either losing or missing out of good projects. This accounts for why this article is necessary. Continuous upgrades and revision of the mainnet function is a must if a cryptocurrency project is to enjoy wide success in terms of rising price which I believe the Dxchain Team have in their routine plan board. For instance, Bitcoin is one project that has enjoyed immense success in cryptocurrency environment, in part because of Mainnet upgrades. Recently, the top cryptocurrency by market capitalization launched Lightning Network -a mainnet feature that added a second layer on the blockchain. The Off-chain solution was a significant update intended to make BTC more scalable thus allowing the blockchain to handle more transactions per second.`
In conclusion, a mainnet launch is a planned and or defining time for a blockchain project to open to public and commence mass adaptation. When a blockchain project team is ready to roll out their official end product, they will carry out a “mainnet launch”, putting the product into actual production and operations. 4. Conditions of Membership Users become members, with all relevant membership benefits, once they hold a certain minimum amount of platform currency. Innovative ITO modeITO Platform Currency Distribution Method ITO (Initial Trust Offering) includes three important aspects: fundraising, Token distribution, and fund return. The ITO model is open and transparent and 80% of the funds raised will be returned to the user and can be verified. This model allows the project side and the user to reach a consensus, which is a good solution to the problem of mutual trust. 1. ITO — Introduction The core Bitcoin concept is based on the building of consensus between a project party and the decentralized investor community. The transaction status and the amount of money held are necessarily open and transparent. Bitcoin earnings are owned simultaneously by long-term holders and the community. Thus, the success or failure of a project depends on their ability to reach consensus. Failure to do so can result from a wrong choice of ICO versus IEO tokens. Or it might be a lack of transparency by the project side in its use of funds raised. This can lead to loss of community trust and ultimately confrontation. The Bitroom team believes in Bitcoin. In order to reach a consensus between a project and the community, Bitroom has innovatively createdå the Model of Initial Trust Offering (ITO). Under the ITO model, the project party publicly and transparently raises funds from the community on the blockchain. The project party then announces a fundraising address and a Token distribution address, with all funds raised sent to that address. Token distributions are all transferred through the same distribution address, Fundraising is carried out on the blockchain, Each transaction and the number of positions at each address can be publicly queried. After fundraising is completed, the project party will return 80% of the money to the community as income. This operation is likewise visible on the blockchain. Each return is visible on the blockchain, as is each return operation. The remaining 20% of the funds raised will be used to support the project to move forward. It can be seen that each step of the ITO model is open and transparent and that each move by the project party and the community, both, is well documented in the blockchain, thus enhancing mutual trust. After the platform closes, the project side will return 80% of funds raised to the community, with the remaining 20% to be used by the project side for promoting project development. ITO is a great innovation, with real capacity to bring about consensus between the project side and the community. Bitroom's platform currency will be distributed in the form of ITO. 2. ITO Characteristics
Open and Transparent Initial Trust Offering (ITO) mainly includes three important aspects: fundraising, token distribution, and funds returned. Each part is carried out on the blockchain. There, each behavior of the project party and the community is well documented, making the transaction process auditable, traceable, and non-tamperable. In other words, truly open and transparent.
80% of funds raised returned to user community ITO's funding derives from the investor community. In order to consolidate the trust system with the community, 80% of the funds raised will be returned to the community and 20% will be used to cover the project side’s development and operation costs. In this way, the project side and the community are no longer in opposition. Instead, a real consensus has been reached.
Verifiability Bitcoin innovatively proposed the Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism to verify the activities of Bitcoin miners, thus providing Bitcoin a reward. In the ITO process, data such as transaction information in the blockchain are public and transparent, and the blockchain browser is the address for querying blockchain transaction records. Community members can use it to view their own transaction information as well as other stored blockchain information information.

Moonbot Our team has developed and is supporting the trading terminal MoonBot which was introduced in October 3, 2017. Currently, the performance of MoonBot surpasses that of most existing trading systems as a result of its advanced functionality and the high security features designed to protect your trading activities. Secure Connection to the Exchange The connection from MoonBot to an Exchange is carried out using special keys that the user receives from an exchange such as Binance or Bittrex. MoonBot connects securely to cryptocurrency trading Exchanges through two special keys which are uniquely and only known to their owner. These are the API key, and the Secret key, both of which the users receives directly from the Exchange. The MoonBot terminal then receives data and information from the exchange’s API collected at several different access levels, including: Public information (publicly accessible data related to trading in general):
real-time executed orders.
Authenticated information (unique to the users and which requires authentication access using the special keys): personal account status (wallet balances);
user transactions (such as the details of executed trades).
After receiving the various data information from the exchange, the terminal records these data in a local database for further processing and application. Security Systems The MoonBot terminal provides completely private storage of all your personal data! The MoonBot team has absolutely no access to personal data, you are the only one controlling its security and have complete control over access to your details. The MoonBot team are not able to withdraw, nor to move, any funds from your personal Exchange account or wallet. You can therefore safely use the terminal for trading, receiving public information from the Exchange, and should you wish to share with others, the trading data on your account. You therefore are the only person with control and access to your Exchange wallet, and can be completely assured of the absolute security of your private funds. Lightning-fast Execution of the Orders on the Exchange and Order Status Update Depending on the distance of the user from the exchange servers, the delay in order execution should not exceed 1 second. Theoretically, the delay can be reduced to a minimum intangible — 10–20 ms. Below is presented a very short extract(4 seconds in total) of the MoonBot log text file with brief explanations and highlights of the key features. The MoonBot log text file with brief explanations and highlights of the key features. Tick Chart. Display of All Orders on the Chart Thanks to the API connection to the exchange, the terminal receives stream data of all filled orders on the exchange as soon as they were processed by the exchange servers and immediately displays them on the chart. Tick Chart. Thus, the visualization of the current state of the market is provided in real time with an accuracy of tens of milliseconds and as detailed as displaying each order on the chart. Auto Trading on Signals Fully automatic processing and trading off Telegram signals as well as parced TradingView alerts. https://preview.redd.it/rw6im5wl1m931.png?width=1095&format=png&auto=webp&s=0ce7e7287dae27a0a71970083435fa93e592e5b5 Automatic Detection of Market Conditions and Reaction to its Changes Thanks to streaming data acquisition, the terminal monitors all available markets simultaneously, and is therefore able to react almost instantaneously as favorable trading possibilities are presented. And due to the minimal delay in the execution of orders, MoonBot responds to abnormal changes almost instantly. Advanced Orders. Stop Loss, Take Profit, Trailing Stop OCO orders (one cancels the other) are one of the most sought-after functions from both the Exchanges providing liquidity to the markets, and applications running on top of the exchanges. The modern Trader cannot trade without the basic “smart” functions and addons to traditional exchange orders and considers them to be the minimum necessary set in their armory. https://preview.redd.it/3gsh12b42m931.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=7f21bd7e7505f9bb5a95555cf355bb6f1f5efab4 Stop Loss One of the most important tools for Traders is to be able to place orders whilst practicing safe money management in order to mitigate against losses. One of the most important safety tools is to use a Stop Loss, which is especially important in volatile, low liquidity markets. With MoonBot, the user can set a Stop Loss threshold (either as a percentage of the order price, or as a number of price points), which their strategy can accept should the price move in the opposite direction to that expected. When this threshold value has been reached, the order will be closed automatically. Technically, a Stop Loss can be set up in two ways: either as a stop-limit order placed directly on the exchange at the same time as the initial position is opened; or as a function controlled in real-time by the MoonBot terminal itself. Additional types of conditional Stop Loss functions include:
Additional and conditional Stop Losses – these are activated by a timer, and depend on the price reached. Thus Moonbot can raise the Stop Loss to a break-even point, or can be set to move upward to follow coin growth and to achieve higher profitability.
BV/SV Ratio Stop Loss — this is a measure of buying/selling pressure and depends on the ratio of the volume of coin purchases compared against sales over a given time range. For example, if the number of sales exceeds the number of purchases, then this Stop Loss would be activated
V-STOP — this is a stop which depends on the volume in the orderbook, where a price and volume level is set, which if broken will activate the Stop Loss.
Trailing Stop — Trailing Stop is a General Stop Loss Management Tool. This very important feature allows the Trader to maximize profit in an automatic mode by following upward price movements, until the price reverses by a preset amount. At that stage the Stop Loss is activated. Take Profit
The Trader can fix the profit gained as the value of an asset increases in several ways:
By closing the position after a predefined profit percentage has been reached.
By remaining in the position, and setting the Stop Loss level to break-even, or to higher profit levels.
All trade actions from the Master Terminal are repeated on the Follower’s Terminal (slave terminal).
The Follower’s deposit remains securely in their own personal exchange account.
The Trusted Management feature does not have direct access to money, or to direct trading on someone else’s account, but manages only its own Exchange orders, simultaneously broadcasting encrypted messages to Followers terminals containing all Master actions.

Where can you use NAV?
Introduction - What is NavCoin?
NavCoin is a cryptocurrency that has been publicly traded since mid 2014. It's a fork of the latest version of Bitcoin Core with many additional features and functionalities which differentiate NAV from other cryptos.
NavCoin has been one of the first projects to switch to Proof of Stake and is still using PoS to validate and generate blocks. NavCoin didn't have an ICO or a premine. It is self-funded from the beginning and primarily, but not solely maintained by developers of Encrypt-S - the NavCoin Core team (see below for more info about the team).
NAV is trying to simplify cryptocurrencies for the masses. It does this by providing features which make it easy to use like the implementation of OpenAlias, which allows people to send NAV to an email-like address (for example [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])). It also provides very easy to use desktop and mobile wallets.
NAV also provides optional privacy. You can send transactions publicly or private, as you prefer.
It's block speed is really fast with about 30 seconds per block. Transactions are confirmed as spendable within only 30 second which makes it ideal for retail and e-commerce.
High levels of scalability (260+ transactions per second)
It currently has a market cap of 11.6kk (as of writing) and trades for about $0.18 / 4'872 Sats per NAV. The circulating supply is 64kk with no max supply (with an inflation of about 4%).
Staking NavCoin currently yields about 8–10% of your holdings per year. This number depends on how many NAV are currently staking. The minimum return is about 4% (if every single NAV would be staking).
NAV is available on many different exchanges with the biggest ones being Binance, Bittrex and Poloniex.
Introduction The following chapter will summarize and break down the history of NavCoin in a few sentences. NAV started a long time ago, went through rebrandings and changes of the core team before it became what it is today. SummerCoin NavCoin was initially first introduced under the name SummerCoin on April 23 in 2014. SummerCoin was a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain. It used to have a PoW/PoS hybrid algorithm with a block time of 45 seconds. SummerCoinV2 /NavajoCoin Soon after the initial launch of SummerCoin, the original developer left and SoopY (soopy452000 on bitcointalk) took over as the main developer and rebranded the project to SummerCoinV2 respectively NavajoCoin and introduced new features. The name NavajoCoin was chosen in honor of the Navajo Code Talker. The unbreakable Navajo code was used to encrypt highly classified military information and commands and decrypt the same in WW II. SoopY introduced a technology which allowed sending transactions anonymously and private. This technology was called "Navajo Anonymous Technology". SoopY also released a new wallet and set the Proof of Stake rewards at 10% for the first year, 5% for the second year and 2% for every year after. NavCoin On August 12, 2014, Craig (current lead core developer, pakage on bitcointalk) started to get involved with NAV by helping to set up a website . It was officially announced that Craig joined the core team as a "Wallet & Web Developer" on November 06, 2014. The last tokenswap and restart of the blockchain of NAV happened on May 12, 2016. Soon later, SoopY stopped showing up and Craig stepped into the role of the lead core developer. Since then, Craig has assembled a strong team with which he built NavCoin into what it is today. Currently, Craig and the NavCoin Core team is located in New Zealand and they are actively developing many ground-braking features which differentiate NAV from other cryptocurrencies. You will read more about that later in this article.
The Current State
Introduction The year 2018 has been a thriving year for the NavCoin ecosystem. Despite the USD price of NAV not reflecting it, in 2018 the core team has developed a whole bunch of new features. Also the core content creators published the first official guidelines that function as an orientation guide for community content creators. This chapter will give you an overview of the current team, the features, the prior mentioned guidelines and the community of NavCoin. Core Team Last year, the core team has grown alot. It contains of developers, content creators and interns. The core team are employees of Encrypt S, the New Zealand's leading blockchain R&D lab. Encrypt S is developing blockchain solutions since 2014 and values building open-source software highly. Craig MacGregor - Chief Executive Officer Craig is the CEO of Encrypt S and the founder of NavCoin. He is one of the world's most experienced blockchain developers. Craig founded NavCoin in 2014 and is developing software for it since then. He has assembled a strong team of like-minded people. Craig also speaks at seminars and conferenced. Some of the companies and conferences he did blockchain education sessions at are Oracle, Xero, Air New Zealand, Blok Tex and trademe. Together with the team, he is also doing a education series on YouTube where he explains upcoming features in-depth for the community. Alex Vazquez - Chief Technical Officer Alex is the CTO of Encrypt S and the most active contributor to the NavCoin core Github. He has incredible knowledge of blockchains and proposes and implements solutions for challenges and features. He supports community developers frequently and answers any questions of the community thoroughly. Like Craig, Alex is developing software for the NavCoin ecosystem for a very long time. Alex speaks at universities at times and educates students about the blockchain technology. Paul Sanderson - Lead Software Engineer Paul is the Lead Software Engineer at Encrypt S. He has a flair for technology. His technical and management skills are perfectly suited for consultancy and investment advising. He also frequently contributes to the NavCoin core source code. Rowan Savage - Senior Software Engineer Rowan is a full stack software engineer with more than a decade experience in developing complex front-end web applications. He joined Encrypt S in February 2018 and has since been involved in the Valence Plattform, the Kauri Wallet and NavCoin Core. You will read more about these feature/projects later. Carter Xiao - Lead UX/UI Designer Carter specializes in user-centric design and is also very talented with 3D animation, motion graphics and programming. One of NavCoins core principle is "Simplifying Crypto" and UX/UI is a very important part of that. Matt Paul - Software Engineer Like Rowan, Matt is a full stack Software Engineer. He joined the core team in Mai 2017 and has since worked on NavPay, NavPi, the Kauri Wallet and NavCoin Core. Kieren Hyland - Chief Strategy Officer Kieren is one of the employees that are working for Encrypt S for a very long time. He is the CSO and is a digital strategist and growth hacker with a passion for new technology and has a lot of experience in online marketing. Laura Harris - Creative Director Laura has a combination of commercial and creative flair. She manages the social media accounts for NavCoin and ensures, that NavCoins' message is always powerful, relevant and distinctive. John Darby - Content Creator John is an internationally awarded Technology and Financial sector marketing communications specialist. He is one of the Core Content Creators for NavCoin. Features of NavCoin The following features are currently available and have been developed in the last months and years. It is sorted from newest to oldest. Static Block Reward The soft-fork for the enabling of static block rewards have been accepted and became active recently at 5th January 2019. This means, that the block reward was changed from a percentage based reward to a static reward. This will incentivize the stakers to have their node online 24/7 which increased the security of the network. It also aligns NavCoin with the PoSv3 specification. With this implementation, the yearly inflation will be 3.6% currently and will exponentionally decrease because of the static value of the rewards. Every staked block will now give the staker 2 NAV. Depending on how many people are staking, the yearly percentage varies. With the network weight currently being around 20'000'000 NAV, stakers earn around 10% rewards from staking 24/7. Cold staking To provide extra security to participants in the staking process in the NavCoin network, the core team decided to implement cold staking. This allows to store NAV offline and still be able to sign staking inputs. Looking forward, a possible integration into the Ledger Nano S would mean, that one can stake NAV securely from a offline hardware wallet. How cool is that? OpenAlias One of the core principle of NAV is to simplify cryptocurrencies. Many non-technical people are deterred from the long, cryptic addresses used in wallets. When sending funds, you have to make sure that every single letter and digit is correct which is nerve-wracking for the average person. NavCoin has implemented OpenAlias, which allows to transform the wallet address into a email-like form. Everyone can register a name like "[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])". Funds can then be sent to this name, which makes sending crypto much easier and less error-prone. Community Fund This is the one big feature I was most excited about. NavCoin core has implemented the first fully decentralized community fund. Acceptance of proposals and release of funds is all approved by the decentralized network. No central authority has access to the fund. The community fund enables everyone to propose their ideas to the NavCoin community and to get paid to implement these ideas. Everyone can propose whatever they like (of course there is a higher rate of success if the proposal contributes to the NavCoin ecosystem ;-)). In fact, this article was sponsored by the NAV-Community by voting "yes" for my proposal. The fund works like this: For a fee of 50 NAV, everyone can create and present his idea/proposal to the entire NavCoin network. The fee is here to help prevent spam attacks. Proposals can literally be anything - be it development, marketing or anything else you can some up with. After creating the proposal, everyone contributing to the NavCoin network can then decide if they like the proposal of not. They vote with "Yes" or "No" for the acceptance of the proposal. Voting happens via staking. Every transaction that gets validated by you gives you one vote. This means that the more NAV you are staking, the higher your voting weight is. The proposal stays in the state "Pending" until it is accepted or rejected. To be accepted, a proposal has to have a participation of at least 50% of all staked blocks and at least 75% of these votes have to be "Yes"-votes. Like-wise to be rejected a proposal need 50% participation of the network and 75% of these votes have to be "No"-votes. Additionally, if a proposal didn't pass after 6 voting cycles (about 6 weeks) it is also rejected. After a proposal has been accepted, the creator of the proposal can start his work. When the work is finished, or at in the proposal defined checkpoints, the proposal creator can create a payment request for the full or part of the requested funds. The NavCoin network can then again decide, if the work is what the creator promised to do and vote for the funds or reject the payment request because it was not what he promised. This mechanism ensures, that the funds are only release if the creator of the proposal did what he promised. The NavCoin network decides everything, there is no central authority which makes the community fund 100% decentralized. The community fund is quite new but there have already been some proposals that were accepted like paying for the development & hosting of NAV block explorer, the creation and distribution of NAV car stickers to the community for free (or paid by the community fund), the funding of interns for NavCoin Core, translation of the website into other languages and YouTube videos. What ideas could you come up with? By the way: this article was also sponsored by the community fund :-) Proof of Stake Like said before, NavCoin uses the Proof of Stake algorithm to create and validate blocks. Participants of the NavCoin network can earn rewards by putting their coins to stake and thus validating blocks and securing the network. The reward used to be 4% fixed but recently changed with the implementation of PoSv3. Currently, rewards for stakers that are staking 24/7 is about 10% but it is dependent on how many people are staking. If more nodes come online, this reward will go down. If 90% of all NAVs would be at stake, stakers would still earn 4%. Tutorials And Guidelines The NavCoin Core team pushes the community to contribute to the NavCoin ecosystem constantly. They emphasize that NavCoin is an open source project and everyone can contribute. The team tries to make it as easy as possible for the average person to contribute and thus created different tutorials and guidelines. Tutorials To Contribute To The Website The whole website is open source. Everyone can contribute to the website. The team created different guides for people to follow . The NavCoin Developer Manifesto The content creator core team has build a developer manifesto. It defines the values that should be uphold like for example that they will always operate in the best interest of the network. If defines the principles, purposes, scope of involvement and operational requirements . The NavCoin Content Creation Manifesto Similar to the developer manifesto, there is also a content creation manifesto. Again it defines the principles for creating content, the purpose, the scope of involvement and the operational requirements . NavCoin Brand Guidelines In addition to the content creation manifesto, there is also a brand guideline booklet. This should help content creators to create images, videos, articles etc. in the same style as the core team. It defines the NAV brand. The brand guidelines contain definitions, the language to use (words to use, words not to use), the tone of voice, what the community aspires to be and what we discourage to be. It also contains the logo pack which can be used in graphics etc. It describes correct logo spacing, logo placement, the colors of NAV and different web assets. It gives tips about gradients and overlays, the typefaces (with a font pack) and many more. Check it out yourself . NavCoin Educational Series The core team has decided to actively involve the community in the creation of new features. For this reason and to allow users to ask questions, they created the NavCoin Educational Series. The core team schedules an online live meetup which can be joined by everyone. On YouTube they do live-streams and explain upcoming features. Examples of these series are explanations for cold staking, static rewards (PoSv3) and the community fund. The community can ask questions live and the core team will answer them immediately. Community During the last year there have been an influx of software developers from the community starting to create features for NAV. navexplorer.com An examples is navexplorer.com which is programmed by community developer prodpeak and is a block explorer for NavCoin. Additionally, it functions as a interface to see what is going on in the community fund. It shows pending proposals and payment requests. NEXT Wallet The NEXT Wallet is an alternative wallet for NAV and other cryptocurrencies. It has a beautiful user interface and is additionally the easiest interface to interact with the community fund (create proposals, create payment requests and vote for proposals and payment requests). It is programmed by community developer sakdeniz who put hundreds of hours into it during last year. There were also some marketing activities starting to emerge with the release of the community fund. Some of these were for example free stickers for everyone in the NAV community to stick to their car / shop / window etc. or YouTube videos of CryptoCandor and Cryptomoonie that explained the details of NAV. I am sure, that with the 500'000 NAV available in the community fund per year there will be an influx of gread ideas - development as well as marketing activities - that will be funded.
Introduction These features are planned for the future. Many of the following features are part of the 2019 roadmap. Some will not be described in great detail because not much is known about them yet. I've still listed them as they are part of what is yet to come. Features Rimu - Improved Privacy Solution NavCoin used to be a optional privacy coin. That means, that you could choose to send a transaction in private. NavCoin was criticized for the way it handles private payments because it relied on a few servers which didn't make it that decentralized. The technology was called "NavTech" and was a secondary blockchain that obscured the transaction and the amount that was sent. NavCoin Core is currently developing a new improved privacy solution that will make the private payment system completely trustless and districuted and runs at a protocol level. Alex of the NavCoin Core team has published a paper that describes this new privacy solution. It's called Zero Confidential Transactions and can be found here: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/330366788_ZeroCT_Improving_Zerocoin_with_Confidential_Transactions_and_more. What I want to highlight is the collaboration between Alex as the proposer of the solution and the Veil team, a Bitcoin Core developer and Moneros main cryptographer as reviewers. When the best work together, it will be interesting to see what the outcome is! Valence Plattform Valence is an applied Blockchain platform that can help businesses realise the tangible benefits of blockchain. You can think of Valence as a platform with which you can build Anonymous Distributed Applications (aDapps) with. But Valence is a different kind of platform that enables developers to create new types of blockchain applications. The problem with current (turing complete) dApp platforms are their complexity and rigid nature. Security holes in smart contracts and scaling issues happen frequently . Valence provides transitional pathways that let businesses migrate only part of their activities to the blockchain without having to restructure their entire business model .
Valence will provide a spectrum of blockchain application solutions which sit along the decentralized spectrum, offering businesses simple ways to dip their toes into the blockchain at minimal risk or complexity .
Thanks to the proof of stake nature of the Valence blockchain, more of a node's resources can be used for processing and routing application data which makes the platform faster and scalable.
Valence aims to make building blockchain applications as accessible to the general public as WordPress or Squarespace has made building websites.
The developers NavCoin and Valence aim to make Valence extremely easy to work with:
A Valence application could be an open source mobile or web application that submits unencrypted or encrypted data directly to the blockchain. The only configuration necessary for the app developer would be setting up the data structure. Once they've done that they can start writing to the blockchain immediately. The Valence blockchain interface is language agnostic, meaning developers are free to build applications in whichever language they're familiar with, which greatly reduces the barrier to entry. As the platform progresses, Valence will introduce more and more smart contract templates in collaboration with the development community. These will be like plugins that users can simply select and configure for their application, without having to reinvent the wheel and risk contract errors or spend countless hours of research to program them.
NavShopper The following information is taken from the latest weekly news: NavShopper is a new project which will allow people to spend NavCoin on a growing list of retailers and service providers. NavShopper sits between traditional retailers accepting fiat and NavCoin users and purchases products on behalf of the user by managing the crypt-fiat conversion, payment and shipping. This project will unlock many more ways for people to spend NAV on existing websites/marketplaces without requiring each site to individually accept cryptocurrencies. Some of the prototypes we are working on include crediting your Uber account, buying products on Amazon and donating to charities. Kauri Wallet The Kauri Wallet aims to be an open-source, multi-currency wallet which functions as a foundation for other features. Kauri Enhanced Enhancements to the Kauri Wallet will allow multiple accounts, pin numbers, recurring payments and more. Kauri DAEx The Kauri DAEx is a Decentralised Atomic Exchange that utilises the features of the Kauri Wallet and enables users to create safe peer to peer atomic exchanges for any currency supported by the Kauri Wallet. NavDelta NavDelta will be a payment gateway that allows users to spend NAV at any business which accepts currencies supported by the Kauri Wallet. NavMorph NavMorph is a fusion of Rimu and Kauri DAEx and will allow to privately send every cryptocurrency supported by the Kauri Wallet.
If you have made it this far: Congratulations! You have learned about how NAV evolved, what its current state is and what the future will bring. To sum all up: NavCoin has made incredible progress during last year and released many long awaited features despite the bear market. Many more exciting features are yet to come and it's going to be very interesting to see where we will stand on this day next year.
Unfortunately, the giveaway was not possible in the cryptocurrency-subreddit because of their rules, so I'm doing it here :-) As a surprise, in the next 2 hours I am going to send some NAV to everyone who wants to try out the awesome features and NavPay you read about above. To get your NAVs, all you have to do is the following:
Download the app NavPay from the Android Play Store or as a iOS user, use the NavPay website
Follow the steps to set up your mobile wallet
Backup your private key (the random words) so you could restore your wallet if your phone breaks or something like that!
Post your public address, so I can send you some NAVs
If you liked the experience, I'd be happy to hear back from you :)
Trading with iceberg orders mode on the Binance Exchange via Moonbot
Binance Exchange allows API users to trade with iceberg orders. It is important to note that iceberg orders are not available from the website or the official application of the exchange. Binance Exchange allows API users to trade with iceberg orders. An iceberg or ice mountain is a large piece of freshwater ice that has broken off a glacier or an ice shelf and is floating freely in open water. About 90% of an iceberg is below the surface of the water. Iceberg orders can be absolutely hidden in the order book, where only 1/10 of the order is visible and the remaining 9/10 is hidden. How an iceberg order works For example, you place an order to sell / buy 1000 coins. Of these, 100 coins (1/10 part) will be visible in the orderbook to other traders, 900 coins will not be visible in the orderbook. In this case, the order exists on the exchange in full with all 1000 coins, and until it is filled out completely, the price will not go over it. There are both positive and negative aspects in this.
Thanks to the developer, allMoonbotusers reserve the same advantage over the other players on the market. It is the ability to hide any amount in the trading book (showing only 1/10 of it), in order not to create walls when buying or selling, thereby confusing other market participants.
MoonBot Example: a sell order with the equivalent of 1.7 BTC in a half-empty order book looked like 0.17 BTC. Market participants bought from an invisible seller until his coins ran out. Thus, a large wall with an order was not shown, which could lead to a price drop. Negative:
The impossibility of high-quality scalping on coins with a price step of more than 0.08–0.1%(usually with a price under 1,300 satoshi). Due to the accumulation of a large number of participants at the same price on such coins, the question of the queue of buying / selling becomes particularly relevant. So with the iceberg mode “On”, only 10% of the order is filled, while for the other participants with the iceberg mode “Off”, the full order is filled. This happens in a such way because the exchange places 10% of the order in the order book initially, and the next 10% is set only when the previous ones are filled. Then the rest are not set up within the same queue, and go to the end after the last orderbook buyer / seller. Therefore, the greater the price step (the smaller the value of the coin) — the more buyers / sellers at the same price, and accordingly the greater the turn and the final execution of the order in iceberg mode.
Video review, which proves that even if one bot with an iceberg mode “On” opens order first, second bot with an iceberg mode “Off” off makes the deal faster. https://preview.redd.it/whu1w4209fa31.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=2acae47f08eee2f232652d07945c03cca2cb2ce2 While one bot with the iceberg mode “On” is waiting for a buy order to be filled (each time when buy price is touched, only 10% is filled), a bot with the iceberg mode “Off” fills its orders at 100%. Example: Imagine a situation (picture below) where you want to buy a coin at the price of 1120 sats and put up at this price your limit order of 1 BTC with iceberg mode “On”. After you have placed your order, another buyer (let’s call him buyer “X”) put his order at the same price in the queue (with iceberg mode “Off”). The order book will show the volume of 1.1 BTC for purchase at a price of 1,120 sats. After the sale of 0.2 BTC at the price of 1120, your order will be filled for 0.1 BTC, and the next 0.1 BTC will be queued after 0.9 BTC (0.1 BTC will also be partially fulfilled) of the buyer “X”. Until the next execution of your order will have to stand in line at 0.9 BTC. If a third buyer appears at this time (buyer “Y”) with a volume of 0.3 BTC at the price of 1120 sats, then after another 1.2 BTC is sold at a price of 1120 satoshi (0.9 BTC — order of the buyer “X” will be filled completely, 0.1 BTC — your part of the iceberg order will be filled, 0.2 BTC — part of the order of the buyer “Y” will be filled ), the next 0.1 BTC of your order will queue for the remainder of the order (0.1 BTC) of the buyer “Y”. And only if no one else places an order to buy at the price of 1,120 sats , your remaining 0.8 BTC volume will be completed without a queue. https://preview.redd.it/yrk5j9azbfa31.png?width=1101&format=png&auto=webp&s=8efc4eed5457d98ba8e246301c94f16965ff9440 When iceberg mode On, your purchase order will be executed immediately in two cases only — there is no queue at your price after you or the sale at your price will be more than total volume of buy orders at this price.
The impossibility of the normal operation of the strategy of Moonshot for the reason above.
The impossibility of normal evaluation of the order book (the search for large buy / sell orders where the price usually seeks) due to the presence of invisible walls in it — often it is not enough sats to reach the necessary price where walls are based.

And similarly, it has furnished options to the banking device. Interestingly within the olden days, the mode of strong cash (store of wealth) become gold and diamonds and other reliable natural sources that can be mined and renewable, which have secured values; however given that blockchain technology became added we've visible collection of Stable coins consisting of tether, usdt, usdc, and so on. https://preview.redd.it/39yblh77kr641.jpg?width=275&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3a0043afc15378d5f43776d710a47f5be123541 The existent stable cash are similarly appropriate but it has barriers and lengthy undue approaches such as: You want to create an exchange platform, complete kyc (recognise your customer), then convert your bitcoins or etherum or altcoins to usdt in massive portions; you equally need to do 2fa (Two factor authentication) and additionally sms notifications to cozy your alternate account; all due to the fact you need to store your fists or earnings in Stable coins. Ferrum Network and BitMax.io Announce First FRM Burn Event
https://preview.redd.it/c47bdu971sl31.jpg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7dbc5bf5edd92bf6a09d3dce0421ace66ead00b6 New York, NY, September 10, 2019 — BitMax.io, the industry’s next-generation digital asset trading platform, and Ferrum Network, a high-speed interoperability network for real-world financial applications, have announced their first Ferrum Network Token (FRM) burning event. Burning is a major component of the Ferrum Network ecosystem. Each transaction on the Ferrum Network requires a small amount of FRM be spent and burned as gas. To demonstrate Ferrum Network’s commitment to burning, Ferrum is proud to announce its first burning event with its partner BitMax.io. Overview of Ferrum Network Ferrum Network is an ultra low-cap DeFI project bringing world-class financial applications to emerging markets. Ferrum aims to empower millions of people around the world with advanced financial applications that run on a DAG-based interoperability network, which can connect to nearly any blockchain and works natively with fiat currencies. It’s like the Lightning Network, but for every blockchain. The first Ferrum Network product is a African fiat gateway and payments app Kudi Exchange. Kudi was launched in June 2019 and has been growing daily. https://preview.redd.it/pspxcm8e1sl31.png?width=1082&format=png&auto=webp&s=5581252a3ceab47f9d680d651807aa30c2f4136a Next Ferrum will launch UniFyre Wallet, a non-custodial wallet for risk-free OTC transactions and staking of any cryptocurrency. As a global project, Ferrum will be launching UniFyre in numerous languages, including a Chinese version. https://preview.redd.it/g5zhvo5f1sl31.png?width=848&format=png&auto=webp&s=2a52d494c3d5827401245391428176d2fa554e2e How do the products connect to the FRM token? All products and transactions will run on Ferrum Network and use FRM as gas. Every time a transaction occurs, it requires a small amount of FRM be spent and burned. Therefore, when fully scaled, tens of thousands of FRM will be burned daily through the African users alone. Ultimately hundreds of thousands of tokens will be regularly burned once the remaining products like Infinity DEX and Sub-Zero Wallet are released. Progress Since Listing on BitMax.io On August 1, 2019, Ferrum Network’s ICO sold out in minutes. On August 5th, FRM listed on BitMax.io as its primary exchange. Here are the major developments since listing.
Token Bridge. Launched the Ferrum Network Token Bridge for instant swaps of ERC-20 FRM and BEP-2 FRM. With an emphasis on user experience, the Ferrum Network Token Bridge is simple, fast and reliable. In addition, the token bridge fee are paid in FRM. Not only did those fees burn approximately 60,000 FRM thus far, the Token Bridge also provides early FRM utility.
Social Mining.Social Mining is a next-generation community driven marketing tool that rewards community members who add value to Ferrum Network in the form of articles, videos, and other high-value social media content. To qualify, users must hold a minimum of 5000 FRM. To date, about 2,300 users have signed up, with nearly 500 users holding at least 5000 FRM.
Binance DEX. Less than 30 days after the BitMax.io listing, all Binance DEX validators voted “yes” to list FRM/BNB pairs, and on August 26, 2019 FRM was listed on Binance DEX.
Kudi Exchange Progress. Ferrum’s African fiat gateway began an aggressive marketing campaign, hosting many events in Nigeria, signing up nearly 50 merchants for the point-of-sale system, and adding nearly one thousand users.
FRM Staking. Ferrum has moved up the time to introduce staking and will be releasing a web-based staking application within the next few weeks.
UniFyre Beta Launch. Ferrum will soon begin beta testing of UniFyre Wallet. For those interested in participating in beta testing, sign up here.
3rd Exchange Listing. In the next week or so, Ferrum will announce its 3rd exchange listing.
Kudi Rebrand w/Bank Card. Kudi rebrand is coming, including the addition of Ethereum and lower fees. Moreover, the launch of the Kudi Card! The Kudi Card can turn digital currency into cash, and can be used anywhere debit cards are accepted. This will open Kudi to an entire new set of customers like international travelers and everyday Africans who want to use their crypto.
Hello Community, It is our great pleasure to announce that Ferrum Network has been invited to the Binance Chain Alliance! Binance Chain Alliance is an association of blockchain projects and their respective Founders/CEO’s who have successfully migrated to Binance Chain and listed on Binance DEX. The aim of this new initiative is to support other projects and their founders during their migration process to Binance Chain, as well as support them in a variety of areas such as financing, technology, KYC and network introductions. What Ferrum Network Brings to Binance Chain Alliance Since our decision to issue a portion of FRM on Binance Chain and list on Binance DEX, Ferrum Network has been honored to be a part of the Binance Chain community. It is now time to give back. Ferrum Network has the following unique technology it can add to the Alliance and Binance Chain projects. The Token Bridge Ferrum Network has built its own Token Bridge from the ground up, enabling near-instant swaps of BEP-2 tokens and ERC-20 tokens. Fully customizeable, Ferrum is in discussions with numerous Binance Chain projects who are interested in this technology as they look to add ERC-20 versions of their tokens and offer their supporters a means of swapping tokens between chains. https://preview.redd.it/onvoyv17brm31.png?width=1102&format=png&auto=webp&s=9689854f3fc1005ab71b7636674e4d305b874dd3 Token Staking After the Ferrum Network main net is released, its unique decentralized proxy token technology will enable the staking any of token, even for BEP-2 tokens that were previously not stakeable (emphasis added). This technology will be introduced in 2020. However, prior to the main net, Ferrum Network will launch an ERC-20 staking mechanism that Binance Alliance projects that also have ERC-20 tokens can avail themselves of. KYC Solution One benefit of having our own fiat gateway is that we needed to build our own KYC solution. For Binance Chain projects looking for a KYC solution for their IDO or otherwise, Ferrum Network has a reliable, low-cost option. A Ground Breaking Product in Development Finally, Ferrum Network is in the early stages of building a ground-breaking cold storage product that will appeal to Binance Chain projects that are looking for a low cost cold storage solution…more news on this to follow. If anyone is interested in learning more about these or other Ferrum Network technology, please contact Ian Friend, COO and Co-Founder of Ferrum Network at [email protected]. Thank You to Cubiex We want to thank Cubiex and their CEO Pierre Cahine for launching the Binance Chain Alliance and being kind enough to invite Ferrum Network! Through Cubiex’s leadership, we are confident the Binance Chain Alliance will become one of the most important communities within the Binance ecosystem. Conclusion Ferrum Network looks forward to working closely with the Binance Chain Alliance to bring value through technology and community support. Please stay tuned for more announcements on Binance Chain partnerships, integrations, meet-ups and much more! Very truly yours, The Ferrum Network Team
I’ve been seeing a lot of repeated questions being asked every day so an updated FAQ/Megathread to address all of those questions will be detailed here. If we are missing something, please feel free to let us know and we will add it. We will try to edit this posting as more information becomes available. Keep in mind the official Bitcoin Private Support portal has now been launched. We have a live chat feature to chat with support, as well as a knowledge base. Please visit the portal at support.btcprivate.org and use the knowledge base’s search function before asking other users. Snapshot/Fork FAQ
When is the snapshot date? Snapshot date will take place on February 28th 2018. The exact moment the snapshot will be taken WILL NOT be announced as a TIME, rather it will be announced as a specific block height. Whatever time happens to be when the block height occurs is whatever time the snapshot is taken. This is to address users who are asking for a specific time or time zone. Once the block height has been mined, the snapshot would have been successfully completed instantly. Users can choose to wait until the NEXT block after the snapshot block has been mined for peace of mind. Once again, the exact block height has not been announced yet. We can only estimate the exact block height as we get closer to the snapshot date. Announcements will come via posts on Reddit, Discord, TwitteFacebook, Telegram and the official BitcoinPrivate Twitter account which is the primary source of all official announcements.
Why can't we announce a block height instead? Why did we choose to announce a date? Block height is not announced for a reason. Keep in mind this is a DOUBLE FORK. BTC and ZCL. 2 Block heights need to be announced. It's impossible to determine the exact block heights so far away from the snapshot date, because BTC and ZCL both have different block time intervals, and the total hashing power of the entire network of BTC and ZCL are changing so rapidly that it is extremely hard to determine a block height in advance, so we decided to pick a date for when we expect the snapshot block to occur instead. We need to determine the exact moment both block heights of BTC and ZCL will coincide in order to get an accurate and successful snapshot. Also, do not forget that 2 simulated snapshot runs have already been completed and validated by the team some time ago, so the process has already been proven.
When is the Hard fork date? The Hard fork will occur approximately 2 days after the snapshot, on March 2nd, 2018.
Is the snapshot on the 28th for ZClassic or for Bitcoin? The snapshot will be taken simultaneously for both ZCL and BTC. Block heights will be announced for both.
Do I need to hold my ZCL until the snapshot or fork? Snapshot. As soon as the snapshot occurs you are free to do whatever you like with your ZCL and you will still receive your BTCP.
What will happen to ZCL after the Bitcoin Private Fork? Current ZClassic's wallet server nodes (Electrum) will still continue to be supported after the fork, and the core dev team will be actively supporting BTCP, whereas the community can choose to further support development for ZCL.
How does Bitcoin Private rewards/claims work? BTCP Coins will be distributed on a 1:1 ratio. Example: (1 ZCL = 1 BTCP.) (1 Bitcoin = 1 BTCP.) (1 ZCL & 0.5 BTC = 1.5 BTCP.) The total combined amount of ZCL and BTC you own at the time of the snapshot will grant you eligibility to claim the same combined amount in Bitcoin Private. You do NOT need to hold a full amount of a coin. You can own partial amounts of ZCL/BTC.
Do I have to store my ZCL in transparent addresses or private addresses to participate in the fork? Any kind of address will be supported through the fork. However, as of Feb. 13, the ZCL electrum wallet only supports transparent addresses.
Are Segwit-enabled wallet addresses for Bitcoin (BTC) supported for the fork? We have confirmation that BTC being held on Segwit enabled addresses WILL BE supported through the fork.
How do I claim my BTCP? More information will become available as we get closer to the snapshot date. An official dedicated guide will be released. In summary, users will need to export a copy of their private key for the corresponding wallet/wallet addresses that hold their ZCL funds at the time of the snapshot. Users can then take the private key and import it into the Bitcoin Private Electrum wallet once it is released in order to claim their BTCP coins. The same goes for Bitcoin holders. **In case exchange(es) support will be announced, users will not need to do anything. The exchanges will automatically credit your account with BTCP. This may vary, so again, please stay tuned for official news regarding this.
BTCP/ZCL Exchange and Wallet Support
Which exchanges will support the fork? The team CANNOT talk about exchange support at this time. Once the support is announced, we will let users know ASAP. All we can say is that the BTCP team has already applied to Binance, as posted on BTCP's Twitter. This is the only thing we can discuss. Binance strictly forbids teams from disclosing IF or WHEN/DATE they will list on Binance. But they allow teams to announce that they HAVE applied for listing, to ease the urge to talk about it. See the official tweet from the CEO of binance. Please do not spam and repeatedly ask this question. News will come as time passes.
Is Bitcoin Private supported by LedgeTrezor Hardware wallets? Currently it is not supported yet because of a technical implementation that the team has not worked on yet because it doesn't take priority. However, the team will be working on BTCP with regards to hardware wallets after the fork, so stay tuned for announcements.
When is the Bitcoin Private wallet being released? Currently the Bitcoin Private Electrum wallet is being developed and rigorously tested by the team. We expect the BTCP Electrum wallet beta to be released slightly before or slightly after the fork occurs. Stay tuned for news.
What other wallets will support Bitcoin Private? The Bitcoin Private Electrum wallet will serve as the “Lite-Client” without having to download the entire blockchain. The team will be working on a GUI version of the BTCP wallet (similar to the java based ZClassic Swing wallet) shortly after the fork. More announcements to come in the future. Coinomi will also support Bitcoin Private.
Issues withdrawing from Cryptopia exchange? As of the week of February 13th 2018, users are reporting issues regarding withdrawing ZCL from Cryptopia. Cryptopia’s coininfo page is showing 0 connections/nodes available. The BTCP team has already tweeted, emailed, called and left voicemails to Cryptopia reaching out to help. It is up to Cryptopia to handle things on their part now. Stay tuned for news regarding this. We have made a separate post addressing this topic.Cryptopia Edit 2: As of February 15 2018, Cryptopia has fixed their node connections. Their backlog is incredibly full and withdrawals are being queued. This may take another few days before your transactions go through.
Where can I buy ZClassic? Currently there are 4 main exchanges that support ZClassic, ranked from ascending order in terms of volume. Bittrex, Cryptopia, Coinexchange.io and TradeSatoshi. Keep in mind as of February 13th, Bittrex is not currently accepting any new registrations. This will hopefully change very shortly.
Why can't we simply pay/donate the team ZCL in return be rewarded BTCP after the fork? By definition, this is illegal. Doing so would make BTCP act as an ICO. Instead donations to the team directly to support us voluntarily without the expectation of BTCP, or contributing to the ZCL mining pool fund is the only way to support the team.
Can Bitcoin Private be mined, if so, could you provide details? Of course! It will be very similar to ZClassic. Bitcoin Private runs on the Equihash PoW algorithm. Because BTCP runs on Equihash, there WILL be ASIC resistance. The privacy algorithm will be run on zk-snarks. Block time will be every 2.5 Minutes (150 Seconds) with a block size of 2MB. Difficulty Adjustments will be made after every block. Replay Protection is also supported. There will be a 21 Million BTCP Supply WITHOUT a pre-mine.
Which pools can we mine Bitcoin Private on? Currently there are no announcements for pool support yet. More news will become available as we get closer to fork date. Most likely, majority of current pools that support mining ZClassic will support mining BTCP. Yet to be confirmed, stay tuned for announcements.
Is the team releasing any video/article tutorials to prepare for the fork? Yes, our content creation team is working hard to produce high quality video/article tutorials to assist users in preparing for the fork. The official BTCP Youtube channel can be found here. This is also where we stream our conferences live. More announcements on this is forthcoming.
What will be the opening price of Bitcoin Private? Just like every other coin (besides tether), the price will depend on the market and what people value it at.
